Golf Ball Grading System

Welcome The Golf Ball Hunter's Grading System. There have been some problems concerning other grading systems vs. mine. This is MY golf ball grading system. It will apply to all of my golf ball auctions! Enjoy!

NEW - These golf balls are new, right out of the sleeve. Concerning logo golf balls: when a logo is in new condition, it means that the actual picture on the golf ball appears to be in perfect condition. When it is slightly used then a small amount is missing from the logo and when it is used, a large amount may be missing. Please consult the picture if necessary.

AAAA - These used golf balls are the best of the best, I call them like new. They were probably only hit once or a couple of times. I carry no better used golf ball . They may have a minor scuff here or there, but most of the golf balls in the packages are near perfect. Concerning logo golf balls: the condition of the golf ball is rated on the AAAA scale and when a golf ball is slightly used or even new, it is considered AAAA. As it becomes more used it goes down and so forth. There may also be some slight dirt on them, and some may have players marks. This has no bearing on how they are graded because they do not affect the golf ball's performance. If there are excessive sharpie marks, I would probably bring it down to AA. These golf balls are very playable, so enjoy!

AAA - These golf balls are almost perfect but may have multiple scuffs/marks (Small in size). There may also be some small players marks on the balls and therefore I can't just call them new. There are no major path marks on many of these golf balls either. These golf balls are also very playable so enjoy!

AA - These golf balls have multiple marks on them. They do not have the "new sheen" like the AAAA and AAA and can be discolored. They may also have very large players mark(s) on them and can also include scuffs and small path/tree marks. They are playable, though they have been used before and this is very apparent. Most will probably play just fine and can be used as practice balls.

A - This is the lowest grade of my golf balls. These are the "bottom of the barrell" as they have multiple scuff marks and have been used a great deal. They are also discolored and may have bubbles from being in the water too long (please note that this is the only catagory in which I place golf balls that have bubbles). These are recommended as practice golf balls.
